double digits and counting...

cadence turns 10 months old

...cadence turned 10 months old yesterday…TEN MONTHS…now i’ve run out of fingers for counting how old she is…it’s all going so fast!

and yesterday, she started saying ‘um-mah’ which is korean for mommy! i’ve been trying to get her to say it cuz she’s only being saying dada for such a long time…before, when i’d ask her to say ‘mama,’ she’d say ‘baba’…but yesterday morning, i asked her to say ‘um-MAH’, and she said it exactly the way i said it, with a cute little stress on the last syllable…it was the most adorable thing i’ve heard her say EVER…

so now i know that she really listens to what we’re saying…it’s so cute listening to her imitate our voices…she’ll even wave her hand and in a sing-songy voice say ‘die!’ which is her way of saying either ‘hi!’ or ‘bye!’ ted wants to teach her how to say ‘suckas!’ to add to that little phrase, but i don’t know if that’s such a good idea…
